Wie einige von euch wissen bin ich ja über die Landjugend in Österreich und deren Partnerorganisation in Neuseeland zu meinem Job in Neuseeland und meinem Visum gekommen.
Im Dezember haben sich ganz viele Trainees bei einem von RENZ organisierten Wochenende in Christchurch getroffen.
Am Samstag Nachmittag haben wir viel interessantes über Neuseeland erfahren und uns gegen kennen gelernt.
Abends ging es dann natürlich auch zum Feiern. Wir Waren ungefähr 30 Leute und haben den Abend gemeinsam in der Pool Bar verbracht.
Am Sonntag ging es nach einen typisch neuseeländischen Frühstück zum Jetboat fahren auf den Waimakariri.
Den Nachmittag haben wir in Castle Hill verbracht und dann ging es auch schon wieder nach Hause.
A weekend in Christchurch
Some of you know that I came to New Zealand with the Austrian rural youth/young farmers organisation and the rural exchange New Zealand organisation (RENZ).
RENZ organised a summer seminar for us trainees from all over the world at one December weekend in Christchurch.
On Saturday afternoon we learned lots of interesting things about New Zealand and got to know more about the other trainees.
After a delicious dinner all 30 of us went to the pool bar to have a little party. Some went home early in the evening and others early in the morning.
We got a typical New Zealand breakfast on Sunday before we went jet boating on the Waimakariri.
The weather was good and we spent the afternoon at Cast Hill.
