Mein erstes Rodeo. Ein toller Ausflug mit super netten RENZ-Trainees…
Rodeo hört sich schon mal cool an, hab ich mir gedacht und natürlich gleich „ja“ gesagt als der Vorschlag kam.
Aber Rodeo ist nicht nur gut reiten können sondern noch viel mehr!
Es gab Bullriding, dann Kälberfangen, das klassische nicht vom Pferd fallen und ein Barrel Race zu sehen!
Nach dem eigentlichen Rodeo sind noch einige von uns nach Kaiapoi zum Kaffee trinken und anschließend Fish&Chips essen gegangen – wir haben zu siebt in meinem Auto Fish&Chips gegessen und sind der Meinung, dass eine 8. Person auch noch Platz gehabt hätte!
Und das Fazit des Tages: So gut würde ich natürlich auch gerne reiten können und ein Rodeo besuche ich bestimmt auch bald wieder.
My first Rodeo…
As I’ve never been to a Rodeo before I just had to join a group of RENZ-Trainees who planned to go to the 2017 Canterbury Rodeo. It was so much fun to watch the bullriding, when they tried to catch the calfs, the classic version of trying to stay on a horse and the barrel racing, of course.
After the Rodeo some of us went to Kaiapoi for a coffee. And as it happens that we tend to get hungry after a great day out, we decided to have fish and chips. But it was raining and we needed a dry place to eat – we found out that 7 people can eat fish and chips in my car without any problems and that there would have been enough space for one person more!
